Kylee Hebert is a member of the volleyball coaching staff, working with Youth Membership and Middle School Girls Volleyball Club. Kylee brings her enthusiasm to coaching by teaching essential volleyball skills and foundations while focusing on mindset. She enjoys working with athletes to train physically and mentally on the court, implementing high-reps and positive self-talk to spur improvement.
Kylee’s volleyball career began at Newbury Park High School, where she played all four years with the last two spent on Varsity. Throughout high school, she played club and ended her club experience at Sports Academy. After graduating, she continued playing for Elon University’s Women’s Club Volleyball team. Kylee spent four years in the program, serving as the Regional Team Captain, Vice President, and finally President during her senior year. In all of these roles, she balanced being both a player and a coach in the student-run organization, which taught her principles of management and pushed her to coach at Sports Academy.
Kylee calls Newbury Park home again after a short stint in North Carolina for school. When she’s not on the court or in the gym, she’s working as a sales assistant in Los Angeles or just as likely on the golf course working on her swing. She is happy to be back in her hometown where she is close to family and old friends!
