Sports Academy is proud to introduce the Personal Development Year (PDY), a program designed to enhance a student-athlete's physical, mental, and academic abilities before entering high school. The first of its kind on the west coast, PDY will utilize Sports Academy’s state-of-the-art 96,000 sq. ft. training campus. With a focus on full-circle development, each student-athlete will have access to sport-specific training, rigorous academics, sports psychology, and integrated sports medicine.
The PDY program is tailored towards those student-athletes who are motivated to enhancing their abilities on the field, in the classroom, and in life. With the mentorship of Sports Academy's elite coaching staff, every student-athlete will be given the best opportunity to succeed.

Attend our summer informational briefings to gain greater insight about Sports Academy’s Personal Development Year “PDY”. Families of 7th and 8th graders are encourage to attend our free tour of Sports Academy’s state of the art athletic and sports medicine facilities.
As a high school preparatory program, Sports Academy’s PDY empowers student athletes to achieve their greatest potential by providing them an opportunity to develop a sense of confidence in themselves as both scholars and athletes and prepares them for the next phase of their careers.

Since 2010 Adam has had extensive experience with guiding young athletes both academically and athletically. His experience guiding athletes at the NCAA level is extensive with him holding multiple assistant coaching positions with the Ferrum College (Ferrum, VA) and Stevenson University (Baltimore, MD) Men’s’ Lacrosse teams. During his time at Stevenson their program became the first in school history to participate in and win a NCAA D3 National Championship in 2013.
After his time coaching at the collegiate-level Adam then moved into the profession of youth coaching and advancement, specifically in the sport of lacrosse. During this time, he mentored over 150 youth and high school athletes in all facets of personal growth and advancement as well as guided athletes through college placement situations.
