Basketball Coaches
Director of Basketball | EYBL Director
Gideon Gamble, Head of Basketball Training at Sports Academy, joined in 2021 and oversees skills training, memberships, and camps. A former pro player with NBA G-League experience, Gideon also competed internationally and brings expertise from Core Prep Academy and West Coast Elite.
Basketball Coordinator
Lindsay Neuner, Basketball Coordinator since February 2022, holds a Kinesiology degree from Cal State Northridge and a Master’s in Sports Administration from Georgia State. With experience at Georgia Tech and Elite Hoops Basketball, she brings passion and expertise to Sports Academy.
Basketball Skills Coach
Irv Roland is an Oklahoma City native who played basketball at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. After graduation, he interned with the Boston Celtics, later coaching in the NBA with the Hornets, Suns, and Rockets, training stars like Kevin Durant and LeBron James, and recently coaching with the Utah Jazz.
Basketball Coach
Gerald, a North Carolina native, is new to the Sports Academy coaching staff. He played basketball at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels, starting as point guard for four years at Barton College, where he earned multiple accolades and holds the all-time scoring record.

Co-Founder, Executive Director of Integrated Sports Medicine & Human Performance Chiropractor, Director of Volleyball
Beau has over 15 years of experience in Sports Medicine and is a co-owner of Body Dynamix Integrated Sports Medicine, located within Sports Academy. He serves as Co-Founder, Executive Director of Integrated Sports Medicine, and the Director of Volleyball, also acting as the Official Chiropractor for the 2022 World Champion Los Angeles Rams
Executive Assistant to Dr. Beau Daniels, DCSports Academy VBC Admin & Volleyball OperationsClub Volleyball Coach
Sarah is the Executive Assistant to Dr. Beau Daniels and has worked with him for 10 years. A former Division 1 Volleyball player at Auburn University, she is also the assistant coach for the boys' 17’s team, bringing over 12 years of coaching experience
Performance Coach & Volleyball Coach
Christine Yangson is a Performance Coach and the Assistant Coach for the girls' 16 Premier volleyball club team for the 2024-25 season. She is dedicated to performance training, mobility, and nutrition, teaching classes like Jump Training, and has been coaching volleyball since 2006
U17 Girls Premier Head Coach & U14 Girls Premier Head Coach
Jen brings a lifelong passion for volleyball to Sports Academy, having coached at all levels—from Little Spikers to NCAA D1 programs. She’s been a club director, High Performance Beach Coach, and helped launch the University of Washington’s first beach volleyball season.
U17 Girls Premier Assistant Coach
Scott has coached volleyball for 10 years across four club programs, using his multi-sport knowledge to help athletes reach their potential. He’s also volunteered for school and beach programs, focusing on player development and fostering a lifelong love for the game.
U14 Girls Premier Assistant Coach & Youth Volleyball Membership Coach
Carrie Halvorsen is the Assistant Coach for the 14-Premier Girls Club Volleyball team and a senior coach in the Youth Membership Volleyball program. With 10 years of experience, she’s coached at top universities and clubs in Arizona, Nevada, and California, specializing in player development.
