Andy Rupp has joined the Sports Academy family this year as an Assistant Coach for boys 14U. Andy brings a love for team dynamics and an enthusiasm to work hard. These core beliefs were able to help him excel as a Middle Blocker for the UC San Diego men’s volleyball team. In addition to being an Assistant Coach, Andy works as a local Firefighter Paramedic. He and his wife live in Thousand Oaks and their oldest son plays volleyball at Sports Academy. Although he will tell you Volleyball and team sports are his favorite; you may also find him surfing, golfing, hiking, or playing pickleball.
