Cameron Ohl is the head coach for the boys 15 Sports Academy Club Volleyball Team.
Cameron began his coaching career at Buena High School in 2001 coaching the boys junior varsity volleyball team. He soon began coaching girls 14’s club volleyball with Channel Islands VBC and coached junior varsity volleyball at Ventura HS and Saint Bonaventure HS before becoming the Buena High School girls head volleyball coach from 2008-2013. Cameron helped establish and direct Rincon Volleyball Club for 7 years before taking some time away from volleyball to spend more time with his family. He recently returned to coaching through his son’s interest in volleyball by coaching girls freshman volleyball at Foothill Tech High School and his son’s 14 Rise VBC team. Cameron has also attended multiple Gold Medal Squared clinics.
Cameron is a graduate of Buena High School and Northern Arizona University where he earned a B.S. in Physical Education with a minor in Athletic Coaching. He was an all-channel league middle blocker and played club volleyball for Highline VBC, playing in multiple junior olympics. Cameron currently teaches physical education at Rio Vista Middle School in Oxnard. When he is not teaching or coaching volleyball, Cameron enjoys spending time with his children (Avery & Zach) and his wife Laurissa. Cameron enjoys being active through running, hiking, and all sports.
