Carrie Halvorsen

Carrie Halvorsen is the Assistant Coach of the girls 14-Premier Club Volleyball team and one of the senior coaches working with the Youth Membership Volleyball program.

Carrie has coached camps at many top University programs, coached club teams in Arizona, Nevada and California.  She has been an assistant coach at two Division 1 programs.  Carrie has been working in developmental volleyball in the Conejo Valley for 10 years through local clubs, CVUSD and camps.  She is IMPACT certified.

The former Carrie Penfield is a graduate of Thousand Oaks High School and The University of Arizona.  She was a Middle Blocker through High School and an All-Pac 10 Outside Hitter for the U of A.   After her senior season she accepted an invitation to join the USA Women’s National Team for a time.  Her claim to fame is being a wife to Ryan, a mother to 5 of the greatest kids and an identical twin.  4 of her 5 children are taller than she is.  She loves sewing, lifting weights, pickleball, being involved in her kids’ schools, church service and spending time with her family.  Currently enjoys spending time working in her yard to become a better gardener!
