Dr. Kaitlyn Lester, DC

Chiropractor
Volleyball Coach

Dr. Kaitlyn Lester, DC

Dr. Kait is one of our Chiropractic practitioners for Body Dynamix Integrated Sports Medicine (ISM), housed inside Sports Academy. After fulfilling her internship with the ISM clinic during her last year of graduate school, she joined the team where she found her home away from home. She is also an assistant volleyball coach for one of our U14 girls’ club teams & a youth volleyball membership coach here at Sports Academy.

Kait studied Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton as an undergraduate, with the original intention of becoming an athletic trainer. After working extensively with athletic trainers at the local high schools, she decided that she could best serve her commitment to helping athletes who are recovering from injury by becoming a chiropractor. She graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. During her time at SCUHS, she volunteered at many high school football games as part of the sideline medical staff. She was also able to participate in the college’s beach volleyball team, participating in an all-Chiropractic college competition in Florida. Kait is currently studying to complete her Certified Chiropractic Sports Med Physician Certification as well as her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification.

Kait is a native of Orange, California. She participated in many sports growing up, including gymnastics and swim, but found her real passion when she started playing volleyball. She played volleyball for her high school team at Villa Park HS and club for Golden West Volleyball Club. At the end of her senior year, she suffered a severe concussion, this injury put an end to her dream of playing in college due to an extended recovery period. This experience plus the many other injuries she has suffered made her even more determined to help other athletes recover from their injuries, in hope that they would not have the same fate. In addition to pursuing her career as a Chiropractor, she is excited to be a part of the volleyball coaching staff as it has reconnected her to the sport she loves. She is a big fan of professional football and hockey and loves to attend games whenever she can. She enjoys painting, days at the beach, and is a huge Disney fan, Baymax being her favorite character because she also wants to be your Certified Healthcare Companion.
