Nick Larkin is a Physical Therapist at Sport’s Academy. He works in the Integrated Sports Medicine Department, where he works closely with surgeons to treat post operative patients. He also evaluates and treats patients with traumatic and overuse injuries, chronic pain and a variety of other diagnoses.
Nick is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS) and is also highly trained in manual therapy. He continues to engage with the latest research on Sports Medicine and Orthopedics and also trains with various leaders in the field.
Nick grew up in Texas. After high school, he joined the Army where he served with the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After the military, he attended California State University: San Marcos where he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology. He further obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of New Mexico, where he graduated at the top of his class. In his spare time, Nick can be seen surfing at his home break at Ventura Point.
