Zach is one of our Performance Coaches here at Sports Academy. He helps coach and lead a number of programs including our youth development and collegiate performance classes. Zach is also a common face in our adult fitness courses where he helps push our clients to reach their full potential.
Zach graduated from Central Washington University in 2017 where he achieved his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Physiology with a minor in Physical Therapy Rehabilitation. He is also a certified Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Zach was born and raised in Yakima, Washington where he was the second youngest in a family of 4 children. In high school he was a three-sport athlete and was a member of the football, track and field, and rugby teams. After high school Zach attended Central Washington University where he played for the men’s rugby team and helped the Wildcats compete for a national championship; reaching national semi-finals all four years. After college he helped coach his former high school rugby team to its first state championship and is currently a Level 200 certified coach through USA Rugby. Zach is a proud native of the Pacific Northwest and enjoys spending his time outside. You can find him out hiking, fishing, rock climbing and just about anything that involves being outdoors. Prior to joining us at Sports Academy he worked in a physical therapy clinic and is working towards going back to school to achieve his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Nate is one of the co-founding partners of Sports Academy and directs the elite performance programs in the facility. Nate also directly works with Sports Academy’s actor & entertainer program to develop role transformations and facilitates on sight training. Groups such as NETFLIX and WARNER BROS have contracted Nate as an onsite trainer. Nate also oversees and directs Sports Academy Tennis performance program. Nate became the head performance coach for Maria Sharapova in 2019.More about Nate

Justin is a Performance Coach at Sports Academy and trains all variations of the population. He has certifications in corrective exercise, performance enhancement and CPR/AED. He is a former athlete and currently partakes in many extreme sports to maintain an active lifestyle.More about Justin
Justin Reading’s duty at Sports Academy is to guide people he comes in contact with while helping achieve their full potential in life. Whether the goal is Increasing Strength, Speed, Size, Fitness Level, or just simply decreasing pain and improving function, He enjoys helping them conquer their goals. He is constantly learning from members/athletes and co-workers and strives to always better himself as a person and coach. His certifications include NASM CPT/CES, IYCA HSS&CC, NSPA CSAC/CWPC, SFMA 1, and NREMT.More about Justin
Christine Yangson is a Performance Coach as well an assistant coach for the Girls VB 15-1s team. As one of the few female sports performance coaches at Sports Academy’s, Christine dedicates an extensive amount of time and personal research into performance training, mobility, plyometrics, and nutrition and teaches several Sports Academy classes including Jump Training. Christine’s love for the game has driven her passion for coaching volleyball since 2006 holding roles as both head and an assistant at the club and High School levels.More about Christine
Trevor is one of our Performance Coaches at Sports Academy. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is also certified in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). After playing Division I Football, Trevor returned to his hometown of Simi Valley and began working at Sports Academy where he found his passion in Sports Performance.More about Trevor
